Burglars left eggs
Ashburton police on Saturday morning were trying to find a burglar" ’who appears to dislike eggs after about 30 dozen of them were left at the scene of a burglary. . Ski-ing i and ; shearing equipment worth about
$9OO were taken in the burglary of a Moore Street house and the eggs left in the room. The police have not yet discovered where the eggs came from. No arrest had been made by last evening. ' ■ '
