The position is one involving the organisation and co-ordination of all aspects of community education as well as liaison with individuals and community groups and all agencies capable of providing continuing education services in the area. Experience in community work or teaching adults would be an advantage. As this is a new position the appointee will be responsible for the initial setting up of the organisation. The appointee will be responsible to the West Coast REAP Committee of Management and initially will service an area covering the whole of the Grey and Westland counties. Salary will be as a Technical Institute Tutor Grade T2 and conditions of service will be in accordance with those applying to Technical Institute tutors.
