Geraldine jet boats in race
Three South Canterbury jet '.boats — two from Geraldine — have been entered in the world's biggest jet boat race which begins on Thursday in the North island, and later transfers to I South Island river? — the Waiatl. the Grey. Taramakau,. Rakaia, i and the Waimakariri. : The three South Canterbury boats will be driven by Brian i Scott, of Geraldine, and Kevin Neumann; of Geraldine (both ; entered in the B class), and ; Peter Collins, of St Andrews, in the C Class. Mechanic and crew on Scott's jet boat will be Miles Marsden i (“looking forward to a new kind : of excitement after racing cars’s. : Mrs Eleanor Scott, of Geraldine.
