Poultry bill
A bill which merges the Egg Marketing ' Authority with the Poultry Board was introduced to Parliament yesterday by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Maclntyre) and referred to the Land and Agriculture Select Committee. The reconstituted board will have eight members, three appointed by the Government'and five by egg producers.. Mr Maclntyre told Mrs Ann Hercus (Lab., Lyttelton) that' one of the Government appointees would represent consumers. — (PA). ' c ' ",
