PA Auckland ■ The president of the Racing Conference (Mr A. M. Hughes) led a delegation of 12 New Zealanders which left, on Monday, for the fifteenth Asian Racing Conference to-be held: in Korea between September 10 and September 17.'.,, Also in the party were two executive committeemen of the New Zealand Racing Conference. Mr W. E. W. Ormond and Mr R. A. Robinson, and the chief executive (Mr A. R. Algie). The veterinary consultant to the Racing Conference (Dr C. H. G. Irvine), a Totalisator Agency Board member (Mr R. Silson) representatives of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association and the leading jockey, G. A, Phillips, made up the group which is. due to arrive in Seoul, via Honolulu and Tokyo, a week from today. ‘ While in Japan the party expects to attend racing at Sapporo where Diane Moseley and Cherie Saxon are booked to ride.
