Gerard for Motogard
Rob Gerard, one of Christchurch’s top rally drivers, is a late entry for the Motogard Rally, which will start in just over a week’s time. Gerard will drive the Mazda RX3 that he rallied a couple of seasons ago and has been driven since by Don Grindley. The car will be powered by a 12A stage 3 rotary motor developing over 200 b.h.p. and has four-wheel .disc brakes. Skyline Garages Is backing Gerard’s effort on the Motogard. Because of his late entry, Gerard will start at the back of the 87-car field.
