Market continues to ease
The New Zealand sharemarket continued its easier trend in moderately active trading yesterday. E. Lichtenstein and Freightways rose after reporting higher profits and bonus issues, and Montana Wines was 9c firmer after announcing a profit and dividend increase. However, share prices continued to find a lower level. Challenge, Fletcher, Healing, and Southland Frozen Meat all eased.
