25 years of Disney
Disneyland is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary, and to mark the occasion. Network Two will screen the “Disneyland twenty-fifth' Anniversary' Special”—a variety retrospective hosted by Danny Kaye and featuring as guest stars Michael Jackson, Adam Rich and The Osmonds, as its Wednesday Special this week. The show has famous Disney songs, special guest appearances, vintage film footage, Disne&style fantasy, and an impressive grand finale by a cast of hundreds singing “It’s a Small World.” Danny Kaye plays a number of characters, including a Japanese tourist, a cowboy, a grandfather and a grandmother. Michael Jackson sings the Disney trademark tune, “When You Wish Upon A Star,” and dances to a chorus singing “Ease On Down The Road” from the motion picture, “The Wiz."
