Situations Vacant REPUBLIC OF NAURU CENTRAL PACIFIC VACANCIES FOR AIR CREW The Republic of Nauru operating air services as Air Nauru provides scheduled services from Nauru in the Central Pacific to ports of Melbourne, Auckland, Nukualofa (Tonga!, Apia (Western Samoa). Nadi and Suva (Fiji), Noumea (New Caledonia), Port Vila (Vanuatu), Honiara (Solomon Islands), Tarawa (Kiribati), Majuro (Marshall Is.), Ponape (Federated States of Micronesia), Guam, Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Okinawa and Kagoshima (Japan), with Boeing aircraft. The current fleet of 5 aircraft consists of two 8.737-200, and three 8.727-100 equipment. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following currently vacant positions with Air Nauru. POSITION: Boeing 737 Captains. SALARY: $A39,943 per annum. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be holder of a First Class A.T.P. Licence, Senior Commercial Pilot Licence, or equivalent, and hold the appropriate instrument rates for the position. Applicants should hold a 8.727 Type Endorsement. POSITION! Boeing 737 Captains. SALARY: $A37,589 per annum. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be the holder of a First Class A.T.P. Applicants should have a minimum of 2,500 hours flying experience. This total may be reduced if the applicant is the holder of a 8.727 Type Endorsement. Flying experience must include time in command of twin-engined aircraft or turbo-jet aircraft. Preference will be given to applicants with 8727 experience. POSITION: Boeing 737 First Officers. . SALARY: $A20,552 to $A24,001 per annum. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be the holder of a Second Class A.T.P.. Licence, Senior Commercial Pilot Licence, or equivalent, and hold or have held a Second Class Instrument Rating or an Instrument Rating of a higher category.
