Earlier in the day Mairehau beat Tamatea High in a quarterfinal game; 67-52, while. Church College accounted for Birkdale College, 56-37. Otumoetai College beat New Plymouth Girls’ High, 43-39, and Wellington East beat Queen’s High School, 59-10, in the other quarter-final games.
