and about the Sounds, moderate southerlies op the Kaikoura coast; cool. Nelson: Overcast, some rain: light and variable winds; rather mild. Buller: Cloudy, more rain; light winds; cool. Westland: Cloudy, clearing; light winds; cool. Outlook: Showers in Canterbury, clearing in Nelson and Marlborough, mainly fine elsewhere.
