Public Notices r CHRISTCHURCH TRANSPORT BOARD IN ACCORDANCE WITH Section 35 (2) of the Transport Licensing Regulations 1963, the Christchurch Transport Board hereby gives notice that it has resolved to make changes on the following services, commencing Monday, December 8, 1980: 1. The Avonhead service will run present route until Cathedral Square, then will be coupled with the Marshland Road service. The Marshland Road service will be extended along Marshland Road, Lake Terrace Road, Lakewood Drive, Burwood Road, Mairehau Road, Beach Road, Flemington Avenue, Bower Avenue, Marriotts Road, Keys Road, Hawke Street, Seaview Road, Hardy Street, Beresford Street, and terminate at Oram Avenue and Beresford Street. Return to Avonhead by reverse route. 2. The Effingham Street leg of the North Beach service to run in and out via Worcester Street, then continue as at present. The Inwoods Road leg of North Beach to be discontinued. 3. The Wainoni service will be extended along Palmers Road, Bower Avenue, Queenspark Drive and terminate at the comer of Anglesea Street and Queenspark Drive. Return to Mays Road by reverse route. 4. The Airport and Radley services are to be coupled. The Radley service will run from Cathedral Square via Colombo and Brougham Streets to Opawa Road then by route to Radley. Return via reverse route to Airport. 5. Lyttelton and Shirley services to be coupled. The Lyttelton service will, run from Cathedral Square via Colombo Street and Brougham Street to Opawa Road then via present route to Lyttelton. Return via reverse route to Shirley. The Shirley service will run in and out via Worcester Street then along present route until Emmett and Orcades Streets. Then continue along Emmett Street and Briggs Road to terminate at the corner of Briggs Road and Hills Road, adjacent Mairehau High School. Return to Lyttelton by reverse route. 6. The Worcester Street leg of the Dallington service will run along present route until Mcßratneys Road and Fleete Street. Then continue along Fleete Street across New Brighton Road, via Queensbury Street, Goodman Street, Kingsford Street and terminate in Liggins Street adjacent Kingsford Street. Return via Liggins Street and Queensbury Street then reverse route to Bryndwr. 7. The Beckenham service to run along Colombo, Huxley, and Croydon Streets then continue as at present. Return to Bromley by reverse route. 8. Bishopdale-Brighton, Seaside Special. (Saturdays only) ruii present route until Lake Terrace Road, then continue along Lake Terrace Road, New Brighton Road, Bassett Street, Travis Road, then present route to Brighton. Return to Bishopdale by reverse route. 9. Queen Elizabeth Park, Avondale, Brighton, “Shoppers Bus,” Tuesday to Friday to be deleted.
