Law and order
Sir,. — It is becoming increasingly obvious that our society is in a state of collapse. Our law enforcement ; agency is endeavouring to prop up our sick society. Its efforts in this regard are being thwarted , by minority groups who are being lauded by the media for being sentinels of what is right for everybody. Even the powers who ’ dispense justice are being influenced by these, groups. We hear of
police brutality, front page news, but lawbreakers who commit crimes of violence rate a mention on page 6 or not even a mention. Why do we criticise an agency, whose staff are prepared to protect us with their lives? I wonder how many of the minority “stirrers” would put their lives on the line for others. Are we giving our guardians of law and order the support they deserve? — Yours, etc., B. HODGES. August 25, 1980.
