Jail on rape charge
PA Gisborne Sentences ranging from five years jail to borstal training were imposed on four young men in the High Court at Gisborne, when they appeared before ■Mr Justice Quilliam for sentence for-their part in the abduction/assault, and rape-of a girl, aged 21.
,Kape Campbell, aged 23, a beneficiary, was jailed for five years, Victor Phillip Kaukau, aged 17, a seaweed collector, for four years, while John Hema Campbell, aged 17, unemployed, and Kay Hori George Fox, aged 16, a labourer, '■ were both sent to Borstal.
