More than 300 volunteers took part in a big Civi, Defence exercise in Christchurch oh Saturday. “Casu allies” were rescued fron the new library site at the corner of Gloucester Street and Oxford Terrace, am

taken by ambulance to a nearby "sector post.” The exercise, which included volunteers frqm Lane, Walker, Rudkin, Ltd, and the Salvation Army, was described by an organiser as “one of the most successful I held in Christchurch.”
