PA Adelaide The police of Alice Springs say the clothing of a baby girl, aged 10 weeks, believed to have been snatched by a wild dog from a camp- near Ayers - Rock has been found. Inspector Michael Gilroy said the jumpsuit, singlet, disposable napkins, and booties of Azaria Chamberlain were found by Victorian tourists yesterday afternoon. Mr Gilroy said the clothing was found by the tourists in a crevice in

rocks about 400 m south from the start of the Ayers Rock walk and about 400 m from, the tent were the girl was sleeping on August 17. There were some tears and stains on the clothing but Mr Gilroy said he could not say what caused them until there had been a forensic investigation. Close to the area where the clothes were found were several dingo lairs, Mr Gilroy said. The intensive search for the baby was called off on Friday.
