Health computer move

PA Wellington 1 Computer firms have been invited to tell the Health Department whether they have any proven health-management and P a t i e n t-care - systems which may be helpful in producing medium-term to long-term plans for the health services computer system, the Minister of Health (Mr Gair) has said.

“It must be emphasised that the enquiry is only for the purpose of obtaining information which could be useful in the me-dium-to-longer-terin planning and that the operation and planned implementation of the admis-sion-discharge system will continue, as will the existing and committed elements of the nationwide payroll system,’* he said.
