Hulk ' may be Titanic’
NZPA-Reuter New’ York An expedition probing the North Atlantic with sonar may-have- found the hulk of the Titanic, the opulent and “unsinkable”, luxury’ liner that hit an. iceberg and sank on her- maiden , voyage in 1912, leaders of the search have said.
Sonar signals reflected off the-. sea -floor by' a submerged .. sled '■• trailing the American research vessel H. J. W. Fay showed that an object “the right length, right width and right height of the Titanic” had been found 12,000 feet down'in a submarine canyon. .
