Price hearings
PA Wellington The Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr AdamsSchneider) has given the dates by when the Commerce Commission must report on the advisability of removing a number of items from price control, after public hearings on the items.
The dates are:— Bread and fruit (retail margins on apples, pears, oranges, and bananas); August 15; butter (wholesale and retail margins), ceramic tableware and kitchenware, building boards and motor vehicles. September 30; and colour tele* vision, October 31.
