‘Cantamath’ again
“Cantamath,” the math-1 ematic convention for school children, will be held in Christchurch again this year. ( It will give thousands of! pupils in Form 1 to Form 41 in Canterbury and the West! Coast a chance to display' posters, models, designs, and verses'with a mathematical j content and to compete in: team competitions between! schools. '
■I The convention will be held at the Town Hall from . 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 114 and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ; on August 15. | In the competitions, 40 ;! teams of four will compete 'against one another, trying to answer correctly as many (questions as possible in half ■an hour. The winners of leach competition will receive a prize.
