Pyramid game charges adjourned
PA Auckland The first two. persons to face prosecutions in the District Court at Auckland, resulting from a pyramid game on July 10 had their cases adjourned yesterday..
The man and woman also each had a new charge laid against them when they appeared before Judge Aubin. Ivan Charles Hogg, aged 35, a company director, of Mount Albert, who had earlier denied two charges of organising a pyramid money game,'faced a third charge yesterday of organising an illegal lottery called the pyramid money game. Margaret Elaine Dallimore, aged 39, a legal accountant, of Hillsborough, who also had earlier denied committing an offence by assisti ing in the organisation of the pyramid money game, was charged yesterday with; assisting in the organisation of an illegal lottery gamel called the pyramid money game. Counsel for Hogg and Dallimore (Mr ■E. T. Midlane) entered a plea of not guilty to the new charges. The Judge adjourned the cases to August 13 for a defended hearing.
