Seafarer shines

Special correspondent Dunedin Seafarer, which is racing on the second day of the Grand National meeting, worked keenly at Wingatui yesterday morning. Seafarer looked sharper for his race on Saturday when he was the beaten favourite. He was travelling well outside Candyboy after sprinting 800 m in 50.9 s on the sand. Candyboy had worked up to speed from the 1200 m.
