Cross-objections lodged
-About 1200 cross-objec-tions have been lodged under the Christchurch City District Scheme Review. A big majority of crossobjectors indicated they did pot W is h to be heard by the council, the spokesman saidThe objections and crossobjections would now be arranged for a programme of bearings on the scheme review, he said. The chairmen of the town? planning committee (Sir Terence McCombs) has indicated that minor issues wilj .be heard before the October Iqbal- body ejections,, arid those requiring longer hearing time would be dealt with early,'-next year.
