Casino promoters face uphill fight
PA ■ Rotorua . Promoters of a casino for Rotorua face an uphill battle in their bid to get the Government’s, backing for -. the scheme. He said that overseas interests were prepared to back the . scheme,. which would include a high-rise accommodation centre with .convention rooms and casino along the lines of Wrest Point in Tasmania.
