Walter runs fast 1500m
NZPA London John Walker rail his fastest 1500 metres for three years and the fourth best of his career when he chased Steve Ovett, of Britain home in Oslo yesterday. Ovett equalled Sebastian Coe’s world record of 3 min 32;1s a fortnight after taking Coe’s world mile time on the same track, arid Walker just failed to .edge Thomas Wessinghage, of. West Germany, but of second place.
The German was clocked at 3 min 33.2 s and Walker
