Bee Gees aid fund
Needy children in more than 100 developing countries receiving aid from the United Nations Children’s Fund will benefit from the generosity of a British singing group, ‘The Bee Gees.” At the beginning of last year’s International Year of the Child, “The Bee Gees” says the song “Too Much Heaven” at a “Music for UNICEF” concert held in the United Nations building. New York. Afterwards, the group gave future royalties to UNICEF. “Too Much Heaven” is now expected to earn about S5OO.OC') for UNICEF.
Broadcasting Music Incorporated gave its top award to the Bee Gee’s song at its annual awards dinner in New York.
