A slice of danger
The Hanmer Springs Golf Club is concerned that people at the side of Argelins Road, alongside the club’s No. 9 fairway might be hit by golf-balls. The club has asked the Amuri County Council to erect roadside notices warning of the risks to people and cars. But the council considers that the club should take steps to see that its golf-balls do not endanger persons on the roadway, and it will suggest that the club erect a safety fence along the danger area.
