Glen Fosslyn gas producer

The Glen Fosslyn No. 1 well in Queensland’s Surat Basin has been declared a commercial gas producer. Last week gas flowed from the well at the rate of 181,200 cu. m a day . during an open hole drill stem test.

A second drill stem test in. the lower permian between 2088 m and 2089 m produced 60 feet of "waxy crude oil” in the testing pool. Bridge Oil, the operator, said. The general manager of Bridge Oil (Mr Albert Harris) said further gas production testing would take place later this month.
