admitted converting four icars. had told the police hei had done so because he had been depressed, said Ser-i igeant J. J. Chadderton. Michael Robert Harrop.) aged 19. who admitted the! car conversion offences.; committed between June 18i and July 4, was convicted! and remanded to July 25 for' a probation report and sentence. Harrop also admitted and was convicted on a charge of driving while disqualified on July 4. Compensation of $205, in respect of items stolen from the cars, was sought from the defendant. ' Bail of $750 was allowed; together with two sureties! of the same amount. . 1
f DRUG CHARGES A man charged with possessing cannabis seeds and five pipes for the purpose of the commission of an offence against the Misuse of Drugs Act was remanded on bail of $l5OO to July 18. Dennis Allan Chapman, aged 26. unemployed, was also charged with unlawful possession of a domino pistol. t The alleged offences were said to have taken place on July 8.
