TV series 'sacrilegious’
The new television series “McPhail and Gadsby” was sacrilegious and should be stopped, according to the secretary of the Canterbury Television Viewers’ Association. Mr N. M. Rush. “The initial programme blasphemed God and denigrated all things sacred,” said Mr Rush. He has written to all members of Parliament in an effort to have the series halted for a public i n qu iry.
