Meaning of advertising
Sir, — Mr Sides in his letter (July 9) makes threats to those who do not toe the Christian line. Though many adherents of various sects do the same, I find it irksome in your usually respectable paper. There is much that the spirit of the Christian religion can teach the world today; but there are other beliefs and philosophies which also would contribute to a better, more just, and kinder world. — Yours, etc., MARGARET MAYER. July 9, 1980.
