Because of their ferocious attacks on other animals, wild wolves are greatly feared by man. But this wolf is a rare exception. Called “Rufus,” he is the star of a famous act held at the San Diego Zoo in California. The fine animal is said to be as tame as a German Shepherd dog. He is seen here with his handler, Joan Emberry.
