Father accused
A man charged with the murder of his baby, aged eight months, has been committed to the High Court for trial at a deposition hearing. Appearing in the District Court at Auckland was Albert Chandray Kumar, aged 26, a mach-
ine setter, Of Panmure. Kumar denied murder ing Stuert Ashok Kumar on or about April 25. Mr J. McDonald prosecuted for the Crown and Mr B. C. Nordgren appeared for Kumar. Kumar was remanded in custody.
