R NORTH CANTERBURY j CATCHMENT BOARD AND REGIONAL WATER BOARD SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTING THE MAKING LEVYING AND COLLECTION OF RATES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting held on May 30, 1980, the North Canterbury Catchment Board resolved by way of Special Order pursuant to the powers contained in the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 directing the making, levying and collection of rates for the year ending March 31, 1981. ADMINISTRATIVE RATE: An administrative rate on the Capital Value of all raleable property within tlie meaning of the Rating Act 1967 or its equivalent on the Unimproved or Annual Value of all such rateable property within the limits and jurisdiction of the several Local Bodies within the North Canterbury Catchment Board District for which the provisions of Part V of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 apply. SEPARATE WORKS RATES: (a) Separate rates to be made, levied and collected on the Capital Value of ell rateable property as de- ■ fined in the respective Classification Lists for the following separate works rating districts: Waimakariri - Eyre . Cust Rating District Ashley River Rating District Sefton-Ashley Rating District Lake Ellesmere Drainage Rating District. Halswell River Drainage Rating District Prices Valley Drainage Rating District Selwyn River Rating District (b) Separate rates to be made, levied and collected on an area basis as defined in . the respective Classification Lists for the following separate rating districts. Lower Hurunui River Rating District Lower Fiats Waiau River Rating District Blvthe Catchment Scheme Rating District School Creek Rating District Lyndon Rating District The foregoing rates shall be' for the period commencing Ist day of April, 1980, and ending on the 3lst day of March, 1981, and shall be payable in such sums on such dates as shall be fixed by the Local Body levying the same respectively, (c) A separate rate to be made and levied on an area basis in the Cleardale Special Works Rating District as defined in the Classification List for tne said district, such rate to be for the period commencing the Ist day of April, 1980, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1981, and shall be payable in one sum on the 28th day of February, 1981.
