Man jailed for meat theft
PA Auckland A freezing worker who stole meat valued at $766 from his employer, Westfield Freezing Company, Ltd, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment by Judge Gillies in the District Court at Otahuhu. Peter Harris, aged 34, a chamberhand, of Papakura, had earlier admitted stealing nine cartons of boneless meat.
