Argentinian policy
Sir, — The military junta that has ruled Argentina since March, 1976, under the leadership of President Jorge Rafael Videla who is on an official visit to New Zealand is responsible for: the abduction of thousands of men, women and children; repression; Government corruption; elimination of innocent people; no trials; torture; imprisonment; no freedom of
the press; arbitrary arrests. The price of diplomacy and trade is becoming too great to continue to justify links with regimes that exploit their people. — Yours, etc., DAVID CAMPBELL. June 9, 1980.
