Market opens on firm note
New Zealand stoc opened the week on a firm note in moderate trading yesterday. Market leaders were prominent in the rises. N.Z. Forest Products rose 2c to 300 c, Challenge 3c to 235 c, and Fletcher, N.Z. Insurance, and Tasman were up 5c each. Carter Molt regained 5c to 410 c, but Mosgiel eased 5c to 15c. The N.Z.U.C. index rose 3.19 points to 415.48.
