N.Z. ninth in cycling
NZPA-Reuter Blackpool Ivan Mishchenko led the Soviet Union to a clean sweep, of all six classifications in the Tour of Britain amateur cycle race, which ended at Blackpool yesterday.
The 19-year-old student took the over-all indivdiual title by a stunning six minute 44 seconds margain, after finishing third in the ; 'ls4km twelfth, and - final stage from': Barnard -Castle to Blackpool. . ■,i -.- New ■ Zealand’s Vera Hanaray finished the last • stage in fifteenth place, Jacky Swart camo In thirty-sixth, and Steve - Cox thirty-seventh.
