Using its powers under the Law Practitioners Act, the society appointed an accountant to investigate the lawyer’s affairs. The lawyer’s trust account has been seized and taken over by. the society. . .. With the assistance of an Auckland law firm, the lawyer’s practice is continuing. . It is expected that an application will be made to the disciplinary- committee of the New Zealand Law Society next week for the lawyer to be suspended. ,
