Gold-buying ‘convenient service
Greymouth reporter Gold-buying by the .West? land Savings Bank hadj proved to be a convenient service for customers, and a profitable one for the bank, said the president, of ,the board of trustees (Mr P. Roselli) in his report to the 114th annual meeting at Hokitika. "Carrying on the tradition! established last century, the: bank has continued to buy, gold front' local persons] wishing to dispose of it,” he] said. “There has been an upsurge of activity in this field during the last, six months, mainly because of the higher world price being paid for gold.” • _|
