Skelt and Erikson top seeds
Nigel Skelt (Southland) and Diane Erikson (Canterbury) are the. top seeds for the South Island badminton championships, which begin today at Invercargill.
Both should have no difficulty in reaching the singles finals where' Skelt-is - seeded to meet his > brother, Peter, and Miss Erikson should: be opposed by.Lyne.tte Roy. Peter Skelt, ranked : tenth in New Zealand last year,
has taken second: seeding ahead of Canterbury’s Peter Whiting, with . David Charlesworth, the ■ Aucklander studying ‘at' Otago University, seeded fourth. :
