Investigate methods of lucerne establishment and management techniques on dry sunny hill country and evaluation of legume species and their management on higher altitude hill country. Suitable techniques in this area would allow greatly expanded animal production in hill and high country. The position would particularly suit a person of high country origin or with a particular desire to live in such an environment. Housing is available on school bus route. Qualifications: B.Agr.Sc.
