Move to North Is. for A.C.T. manager

The Lyttelton Harbour Board this week paid tribute to a well-known local shipping agent, Mr P. A. Spratley, the Christchurch manager of Blueport A.C.T., who is leaving to become his firm’s New Zealand, marketing manager in Wellington. >

The chairman of the board (Mr J. E." Mannering) presented Mr Spratley with j history of the Port of Lyttelton and wished him success ‘ in his new job. i Marketing was always Mr i Spratley*s main interest and when he was transferred to Christchurch from Auckland ’ in 1976 he was immediately 2 immersed in the working side of the business.
