Orang-utan offered
PA - Auckland Bobby, an Australian orang-utan with a reputation as a “stud” and a “character” in Sydney and Perth, has been offered as a gift to the Auckland Zoo by tile Perth Zoological Gardens. But .the offer, which the zoo’s director (Mr D. Wood) described as tantalising, may. be passed up. First, the cage available for him in Auckland may be too small. Second . . . “I don’t even know if the staff would be safe,” said Mr Wood. Bobby would also be on his own in Auckland.. .
