Petrocorp ready
PA ■ Wellington Petrocorp ;said yesterday that it w?s ready, to spud-in its’Kokiri No. 1 well on the West Coast.-, The target depth was expected to be reached in about- six weeks. Production testing at the McKee No. 1 well inland from Stratford had begun last Saturday but the production of oil and gas was very small and could not be properly measured because of the low flow rates. Testing would continue to determine how the well would flow over an extended period. s The McKee -well was drilled by Petrocorp before it shifted its rig to Kokiri.
