Advertising award

A travel award to encourage the professional skills of young New Zealanders in advertising has been established. The Readers Digest Young Persons Travel Award will enable a person under the age of 30, who is employed in an advertising agency or the advertising or marketing department of a national advertiser, to attend the twelfth Asian Advertising Congress in Singapore in

September. The award covers return air travel to Singapore.

Applicants will submit an advertising strategy' or creative solution to one of four communications challenges: How can advertising improve the life-style of New Zealanders; Export or perish; How can New Zealanders become more productive; and Promoting “See New Zealand” to New Zealanders.
