Quax, Ryan carry on

NZPA- Wellington New Zealand Olympic hopes Dick Quax and Kevin Ryan have said that they will continue their training for the Moscow Games, in spite of Rod Dixon’s withdrawal and doubts about John Walker’s participation. Quax said that Dixon had taken a “courageous stand,” but added: “I’m going to continue my training and let the chips fall where they may.” Ryan said: “I will carry on. There are other marathons if the Games are called off or a New Zealand team doesn’t go.”
