Squash tour of N.Z.
PA Tauranga A five-strong Singapore squash team will tour New Zealand in May and June. Singapore's three top junior players would be included in the side, he said. The same players met New Zealand's junior team recently on its return from the world championships. Singapore lost the seies, 1-2, but the team impressed. The Singapore side will arrive in New Zealand on May 26. Its itinerary, with final details and some venues yet to be confirmed, is: Northland. May 27; Auckland, May 29; North Island championships, Panmure, May 30June 2: Southern Districts, June 3; South Island, Timaru, June 5; Canterbury championships, June 6-8; Canterbury districts, June 9; New Zealand under-23, at Nelson or Wellington, June 10; Wellington districts, June 12; Central Districts, June 13; Hawke’s BayGisborne, June 14; Bay of Plenty, June 16; New Zealand Juniors, Hamilton, June 18; Waikato District June 19.
