Labour ward candidates
Four candidates were selected last evening by the Labour Party for the Christchrch City Council’s east ward.
They were Mrs A. Barclay, a clerk; Mr G. E. Macann, a Government sales representative; Mr C. E. Manning, a university lecturer; and Sir Terence McCombs, who is retired and already a city councillor.
