Another Cutts’s
Riccarton’s famous Cutts’s brush, which was destroyed by fire early in March, will be rebuilt on its original grand scale within the next week or so, but it will not have to be jumped in the steeplechase at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s meeting on May 13. Officials of the club, feel the new Cutts’s might prove too formidable so early in the season, and a moveable and less daunting brush fence will be substituted for that race.
